Just a reminder for anyone out and about. Spring can be a busy time for ticks. I have found a number of them on us after being out on hikes, or in fields. (More this year already, than all of last year.) No bits, just crawling.

I will be stocking up on repellents containing Permethrin for on clothing, and DEET for on skin.

Unless you've found a golf course to fly on, model rocketry can be a somewhat rugged, bush-whacking, on your feet all day activity.  Wear long pants and protective footwear like light-to-mid weight hikers or trail runners.   Don't wear shorts and sandals to a launch. I've seen guys get their legs all abraded just from walking through the grass.  Now add the ticks crawling all over you with the scratched up skin.  Not good.  Please dress appropriately.
