The launch for this weekend has been scrubbed.  Occasionally, we have experienced exceptionally nice days in winter.  This weekend is not one of them.

So... what do you have there, Doug?  Tell us about it.

Very nice looking to let. What size motor does it take?

It’s an Aerotech HV Arcas. 2.5” dia 55” tall 29 mm motor mount. F & G motors 700-1500’ flights.

looks a little large for MTMA field.  I would go to a skybuster/Notra launch on the west side or Tripoli-Springfield 0hio.

AGREED. It would probably end up in somebody's back yard on the southside....

Big doesn't mean screaming high flights.  Fly it wherever you want, but Doug did say 700-1500 feet.  It's a park flier with the motors he was planning on using.

Absolutely a park flyer on these motors. Plus a Chute Tamer set to open at 300’. I’ve flown my Loc Aura and Weasel there on F motors and recovered them in our field….

This one won’t go nearly as high or as fast!
