We will not be launching tomorrow. The rain is not supposed to end until late morning and the forecast temperature at noon is only in the mid 40s.

Stay tuned for updates on the status of a Sunday launch. Chime in if you plan to be there.

It's a little overcast but the chance of any precipitation is minimal so we are a GO for today's launch.

It will be a refreshingly cool day and the winds are predicted to be light, so bring out your rockets and fly with us!!! This i s a regular club launch and will run from 12 noon to 4 PM or until everyone's done flying, whichever comes first.

Jeff

Hi Bob,

The rocket is mine, would love to have it back! If I'm not at a launch you are at please give it to Jeff or Gary and I can get it from them. Please thank the responsible party for me for returning it. That was a kit bash of a Custom Model Rocket Products "Galaxy" kit and I had a lot of work in it. Will be glad to have it back!

Enjoy your trip to Dayton, hope to go there myself this winter.

I wanted to let all members know that a model was recovered from the electric lines a few weeks ago. One of the model airplane club members gave it to me.

The model is of a 1.6 inch diameter Lance Delta.  It is still in good shape. If it is yours please contact me at robert.1.ferrante@... so I can get it back to you.

I won't be able to attend the launch this weekend. I will be at WPAFM looking at airplanes and BIG rockets.

Have fun flying.

The weather isn’t as beautiful as last launch, but the winds are favorable and though overcast, the very slight chance of rain is.... very slight.

Bring out your rockets and come fly! Remember, we are hosting the cub scouts for this launch but we will still have plenty of time to launch our own rockets today.

Subject: [MTMA] Tomorrow’s launch POSTPONED

Due to the threat of thunderstorms in our launch window, and the forecast for unfavorably brisk winds, we will be postponing the Cub Scout launch scheduled for tomorrow until Sunday. The forecast for Sunday looks much better to have a bunch of little ones fly some rockets.

For any of you who volunteered to help and can’t make it in Sunday, I understand completely. Thank you for volunteering. For those who still can, we appreciate your flexibility and welcome your assistance.

We will be setting up around 11 and the scouts will be on site around 12:30. Volunteers and any regular club members wishing to fly, come on out and bring your rockets!

See y’all at the field!

Jeff
