Just an FYI.  I picked up the 30th anniversary edition Estes Saturn V kit from Ebay.  The seller is known as Rocketman and seems to be a husband and wife team in Minnesota.  You can bid, or on any of the rocketman auctions without a staring bid, you can purchase the kit outright for $48.99 + 5.00 shipping.  From the entering of my bid to delivery on my doorstep was 5 days including Christmas.

Happy Holidays to all,

Hi Chuck,

thanks for the info. i have been to GLH in the past.
they don't have the V2 kit. it's been out of
production for 20 years. they have a remake of the
smaller one out now. i'm looking for one that my
brother has now (since back then actually). it's fun
to launch and looks impressive.
thanks, Joe

have done a bit of business with GLH in the past and
I would like to take a
trip up north to check out some reloads.

Hey fellas. Just a newsletter lurker here. I live in VA. "Stans Rocket
Links" is an excellent list! Thanks!

My son and I are just getting into rockets. We launched a couple of the
Estes mini already built "toys" and were less than impressed. We are
building the Sidewinder kit right now. I was sorry to see Rocketvision
close its doors. Their "Starter Kit" looked very interesting.

Dude
If you want to beaf up that thing my 3.90 centering rings fit it great and
the 29mm motor mount gives you more options - How do I know this? Someone
called this week and I had to open the one I purchased last year (for 50
bucks) and I was not too excited with the thickness - If so - 3 CR-3.90-1.14
rings and a stick of 29mm motor mount is pretty cheap at Great Lakes when
you go. The BT-3.90 is also a pretty strong airframe if you are switching
parts out- Good Luck! I can't wait to see yours fly.

Hello all!! I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I would just
like to tell everyone that over the last few years I have had a great
time flying with MTMA and to see this group go from a few guys on RMR
to a formal group of flyers has been awesome. This group had really
grown and I am proud to have been a part of it.

Well now for the bad stuff. I am giving up the hobby of rocketry to
pursue other interests. Unfortunatly I just don't have enough time
for the hobby anymore. Maybe someday I will get back into it..or
maybe become a knowledgable spectator.... Like someone else we know

that would make me a BBAR?? I am officially resigning as MTMA

Along with getting out of a hobby as intense as Rocketry goes getting
rid of a bunch of stuff. The following is a list of everything that I

I'll try to contribute, as I'd like to see a lot of the stuff going to the
club, but, before I commit, the Hilty family needs to take an "inventory" of
outstanding holiday payables first. Don't want to hold up the sale tho'.
If it goes, it goes.

BTW, Kaplow is taking his annual flight survey on RMR if anyone wants to
contribute to his compilation. After going over all my 2000 flights, I was
surprised to see that I was actually *up* by 11 flights from 1999. It
seemed like I flew less.

Hello Barry, I see you are going for the stuff Randy is selling. I would
like to buy some of that stuff. Are you keeping the launcher or donating it
to MTMA ? I would kick in some bucks on the launcher either way. ( I'd
probably get to use it either way ) Can I put in my requests for some of the
stuff ? I'd like the 29 mm motors, the Mini Magg, the Pml Bull Puppy, and
what ever else you want to get rid of. Let me know... thanks Dale

to a formal group of flyers has been awesome. This group had
really
grown and I am proud to have been a part of it.

Well now for the bad stuff. I am giving up the hobby of rocketry
to
pursue other interests. Unfortunatly I just don't have enough time
for the hobby anymore. Maybe someday I will get back into it..or
maybe become a knowledgable spectator.... Like someone else we
know
and love...LOL. Of course if I would get back into it in the
future
that would make me a BBAR?? I am officially resigning as MTMA
section advisor. Hey Tod.... I need to send you this advisor stuff
and the section certificate in the mail so send me your
address...<G>
Along with getting out of a hobby as intense as Rocketry goes
getting
rid of a bunch of stuff. The following is a list of everything
that
I
want to part with. I figured I would offer it to the group before
I
stuck it up on Ebay.... I won't sell the stuff individually
though...that is to much of a hassle... so it is for sell as a
bundle....Don't worry Stan, Your muli launch controller is not
listed
in this bundle....LOL...Oh and BTW... I know after my last two L2
attempts it does not seem like it, but my rockets are all build
and
painted well.... and all have flown several times...ask Stan..He
knows how I build them......and No comments Barry...<G>

Here is what I got: $400 takes all

Barry Lynch <belynch@...>

Guys - I had a great call today from a local guy looking to fly with his son - told him about the group - can you add him to the group and inform him of our flying schedule?  He is primarily flying B&C motors but moving up to D with his Onyx - would be good to bring him in - He is from Kent - mantua1@...
Thanks
