We typically set up 30-60 minutes before the launch. We start promptly at noon. We fly until everyone has had enough, or 4:00 pm, whichever happens first. If you arrive late, you may find that we have already flown and packed up.

Due to forecast rain, there will be no club launch on Saturday, November 24, 2018.

There will be a Bring-Your-Own-Gear launch on Sunday. Due to increasing winds in the afternoon, this BYOG launch will open at 10:00 AM. Since this will not be a club launch, anyone launching rockets must be a current NAR member AND a paid-up member of MTMA. With the amount of rain we have had, please do not walk on the Flying Aces' runway or in the grass adjacent to the runway.

It seems as though we are not meant to meet at the field this year. Every launch that I can make it to gets cancelled, and every launch that actually happens I am busy doing other things. This means I have only been to two launches, and have not flown at either one.

So how about we try to arrange to meet so I can get you your model. Right now it is safely tucked away with my other models. I am feeling guilty about having it though.

I wanted to let all members know that a model was recovered from the electric lines a few weeks ago. One of the model airplane club members gave it to me. 

The model is of a 1.6 inch diameter Lance Delta.  It is still in good shape. If it is yours please contact me at robert.1.ferrante@... so I can get it back to you.

I won't be able to attend the launch this weekend. I will be at WPAFM looking at airplanes and BIG rockets.
